3 Easy 5 Minutes Feng Shui Fix You Can Do Today To Boost Prosperity At Home
Hi everyone! Welcome to the first post of The Tranquility Report. I've loved Feng Shui all my life; it was rooted in my Taiwanese upbringing. I enjoy thinking about it as having a cheat sheet for a more prosperous and harmonious life. Who wouldn't want that, right? So today, I am introducing you to the Top 3 five-minute Feng Shui fixes for your home, and my goal is always to make it super simple and actionable!
Tip 1: Mirror facing the bed? Absolutely not.
In recent years, taking mirror selfies in bed has become an aesthetic trend. Not going to lie, my entire body always screams internally at the thought of "OMG, terrible Feng Shui!" when I see something like this on social media. In Feng Shui, a mirror carries a lot of Yin energy and can reflect and amplify energy. When placed in front of the bed, it creates a sense of restlessness and negative energy, leading to poor sleep quality, health issues, and relationship problems due to the "duality" feature of the mirror.
TV is also considered a mirror in Feng Shui due to its reflective nature. For people who have a large TV in the bedroom facing the bed, it is recommended to cover it up with fabric or, if you have the budget, a Samsung Frame TV that can double as art can be a great solution.
Tip 2: Entryway needs to be clutterless
The entryway does not need to be big, but it does need to be spotless and intentional, as it is where the good energy enters your space. Therefore, it must be kept extremely tidy and clean. It is said to expel the Qi of Prosperity to enter and flow through your home if it's cluttered. A bonus point is to add a living plant in the entryway; it helps boost liveliness and positivity in the house.
Tip 3: Put down the Toilet Seat and Bathroom Door After Use
The bathroom is where we dispose of waste and accumulate negative Qi. Therefore, it's crucial to put the toilet seat down before flushing after each use, particularly if you reside in a compact space like a studio. Over the years, I've developed a habit of purposefully closing the toilet seat and bathroom door to prevent the circulation of negative Qi in the house. If possible, include plants such as Snake Plants, Peace Lily, or Pothos that help purify the air.
